3. Due to Wood-Plastic Composite material is a thermoplastic profiles, its expansion coefficient is higher than ordinary solid wood. Therefore, when laying a large area of composite timber cladding onto the wall,you must pre-drillthe hole in the part of fixing screws, the screws must be set into the soft rubber pad, to prevent the wall from deformation and arch camber issues when install such a large area of wall panels.

Precautions:

1. Before installing the composite wall cladding you must purchase the wallboard material according to the local environment and geographical conditions, to allow the WPC wall panel can use longer.
2. The maximum length of the composite wall panel recommends no more than 3000mm. The maximum length of joist recommends no more than 4000mm.
3. When purchasing wood plastic composite wall panel,factories will equip with special accessories, for special requirements, you should buy according to the specification of wall cladding.
4. The longitudinal direction of wallboard should reserve 5 ~ 10mm spacing.
5. WPC wall panels and other wood-plastic composite materials are similar to real wood, they are able to use ordinary woodworking tools to cutting, sawing, drilling, open tenon etc..
6. You should pre-drill holes when using the self -tapping screws to fix the wall panels. Pre- drilling holes diameter should be less than 3/4 screw’s.

1.Raw materials: the raw materials of PVC composite flooring and PE composite decking are similar, the main difference is the polymers, as its name implies PE composite decking used PE resin, it’s a hot extrusion composite material without adding foaming agent; And PVC composite flooring used PVC resin, it is also a hot extrusion composite material but need to add foaming agent.

2.Applications: PVC composite productsare mostly used in indoor. such as ceiling, TV backdrop, doors, baseboard, and the door decorations; andit very few to used in outdoor, since PVC composite products are foamed during the production, so the density is very low, the water resistance is poor, then the color is easy to fade. PE composite products are mainly used in outdoor landscape and construction, such as the billboards, flower boxes, fences, outdoor decking etc., since the water resistance is good, corrosion resistance is strong, and it’s very easy to install, there is no need to paint, and free of maintenance. And most importantly it’s very Eco-friendly to both human and the environment.

3.The performance: The whether resistance of PVC composite products is poor, the color fading will be a big problem when used in outdoor, as to some substandard products the water absorption will be 5% higher, and the impact resistance is too weak to be hit by some heavy or sharp objects,it’s easy to damaged. While PE composite decking have strong weather resistance, the colors are more natural and longer-lasting, the impact resistance is stronger, so the PE composite material in outdoor applications can be up to 15-25 years, so it’s has been applied to a wide range of outdoor pavilion, fence, etc..

4.The price: PE composite material will be a little expensive than PVC material, sincethe raw material of PE is dearer, and the quality is better.

Actually, whether to choose PE composite decking or PVC composite flooring, it is no exist which is better, and mainly depends on the customer’s needs. Does wood plastic composite products will be deformed in the water?

Does WPC will be deformed in the water? This problem is usually asked by customers who often have the projects at the water’s edge or need to be immersion in water, such as: the bath center, landscape on the water etc.. Although PVC composite products can be used in the environment temperature between 70℃to -40℃ degrees, and can maintain normal physical properties, without being significantly deformed. However, due to PVC composite material have been foamed, the density is less than the water’s, so PVC composite products are not suitable for long-term immersion in water, and also not suitable for using in sauna room and other hot and humid places; but for ordinary indoor decoration, bathroom renovation, it’s no problem to wash and wipe with water, most importantly, PVC interior decoration WPC products are free of formaldehyde and other health hazardous substances, it is really ideal material for interior decoration.

The outdoor weather resistance of PE WPC products are particularly good, and very stable and will not be deformed in the natural environment. The density of PE WPC products are greater than the density of water, therefore, the waterproof property of PE WPC products are great, and now widely used in outdoor platform and plank road on water and swimming pool etc., It’s greater than real wood outdoor gazebo, decking, fence etc. in weatherability and have longer life span, which is the best example of no deformation in water! Does WPC products need to be painted?

WPC is divided into PVC material and PE material. Generally, the PVC products used in outdoor need to be painted, and usually applied to exterior building facades and cladding cases. The main purpose of painting is to prevent and protect the surface from the water and moisture of the air, and to avoid the color fading problem by oxidation of the PVC material by UV irradiation, thus the product’s life span can be prolonged. People often chooseclear varnish or UV paint to paint it.  The outdoor application WPC PE products and outdoor furniture WPC PE products donot require any painting.

So, how is the painting effect of PVC types of WPC materials?

WPC is a kind of wood-plastic composite material, which combined by wood flour, calcium and other additives, so the surface isglossy and smooth due to the resin, but is also a bit of matte,the surface friction is relatively large. LeadWPC had did some experiments to compare the adhesion of varnish, uv paint and regular paints, the corresponding results show that PVC WPC paint adhesion is very good, and the material stability of PVC is high, so theadverse reaction will not be occurred.

The effect of painting WPC material and anticorrosive wood products aredifferent, WPC material often paint for enhancing the brightness and to protect the products. It do not need to repaint or keep regular maintenance.And for painting anticorrosive wood applied in outdoor pavilion, decking and fence etc., the main purposes areas follows: the first is waterproof, the waterproof effect of anticorrosion wood is bad,so the painted surfaces can prevent the penetration of watereffectively, andslow down its rotten. The second is to prevent discoloration, traditional wood will be carbonized and go dark after using around 2 years in the outdoor space, that’s inaesthetic, so, generally the real wood projects should be painted every year, to isolate the air to slow down the speed of carbonization of wood .

The differences of Hardwood flooring , WPC indoor flooring and laminate flooring

So what on earth the difference between Hardwood flooring, WPC indoor flooring, and laminate flooring? Which one to choose? Hardwood indoor flooring

Hardwood flooring is a kind of decoration flooring coverings, that made by natural dried and processed wood. Due to the Hardwoodindoor flooring surface onlytreat by painting, so the natural wood grain pattern and color can be shown, which can give customers a natural, soft, full of affinity feels, comfortable with barefoot, safety to use etc..

Hardwood flooring did not use any adhesives or glues etc. during the manufacturing process, it’s relatively environmental to use in the interior environment. In addition, noise insulation, humidity control, and noble gorgeous features are the advantages of hardwood flooring.

The disadvantage of solid wood flooring is obviously, first of all it is difficult to maintain. Hardwood flooring require very good installation condition, once the condition is out of flatness or rough to install, it will cause a series problems, If the indoor environment is too wet or dry, the flooring will be easy to arch, warp or deform and easy to make noise when walk on it. To keep the flooring glossy and new, it’s should be waxed and oiled often during the use. Otherwise the flooring will be old and bad looking soon.

Laminate indoor flooring

Laminate flooring, also called Laminated composite flooring, in view of the shortcomings of hardwood flooring is not moisture proof and not wear-resistant, many flooring companies have worked on a kind of composite flooring, which can overcome the shortcomings of hardwood flooring. However, laminate flooring is not made of solid wood.But composited by four artificial material layers. Namely wear layer, decorative layer, high-density substrate layer, balance ( moisture ) layer.

These four artificial materials enable laminate flooring overcome the shortcomings of solid wood flooring. The wear layer of laminate flooring can prevent the scratch damage from keys, screwdrivers etc., so that it can reduce the difficulty of maintenance. Andanti-moisturelayer can absorb moisture from the air, so it would not be deformed because of wet or dry condition.

But laminate flooring also have significant disadvantages, it’s not environmentally friendly and the barefoot feelings are not good as solid wood flooring. The four layer artificial material need lots of glues and adhesives to put together, which will cause continuouslyemission of formaldehyde to do harm to humen’s health during the use. And laminate flooring do not contain any solid wood, so the barefoot feeling of laminate flooring is not as comfortable as solid wood flooring.

WPC indoor flooring
