What to Know Before Composite Decking Installation?

7. Lay the moisture proof film
Lay 0.2 thickness PE moisture proof film before paving the moisture proof underlayment. The film should be laid straightly, overlap 300mm the film in the joint places, seal and compact them by 60mm wide tape. Make 30-50mm left along the wall side but the height of film should not be higher than the skirting boards.
8.Lay the underlayment
The thickness of underlayment should not less than 2mm (3mm thickness is enough). The underlayments cannot be overlapped while installing, the joint places should be sealed and compacted by 60mm wide tape, The underlayments need to be laid straightly. Make 30-50mm high left along the wall side but the height of layment should not be higher than the skirting boards.
9.classify the flooring boards before laying. Unfold all the flooring boards before laying and classify the floorings by dark and light colors and communicate the installation plans with your clients. Use the short flooring boards first, then cut the long boards after using out the shorts.
